Poetry
I
began writing poems in the fall of 2000. I went to a women’s
bible study where they used the Beth Moore video tapes. She is such
an exciting and thrilling teacher; full of God’s love and compassion.
I wrote in my journal daily. Soon it began to come out as poems. The
poems became many. I found a Christian publisher, joined a poetry
club and began publishing my poems.
Included
are many of my poems. I have a small booklet published and copyrighted
(as are all my poems) entitled “God’s Love Flows.”
This
gift of writing was given to me by the Lord. I would never be able
to write what I do if I didn’t have His help. Keeping this in
mind, I feel that these poems are meant for everyone. I give you my
permission to print them out and use them for yourself or anyone else
who needs the comforting words. The only thing I request is that you
do not take my name off the poem.
Photographs
I needed some sort of format to put my poetry on.
I went to the local Office Max and began buying designer paper. My
publisher warned me that I could not use other people’s designs.
This is when my love of photography kicked in. I pulled out my 35mm,
bought a digital camera and a good scanner. These enabled me to use
photos of past trips (Hawaii, Aruba, Bermuda, Key West and many other
places) plus many new photographs. It has been so much fun finding
the right picture for a particular poem. I have tried to match the
poems and pictures together.
One day someone asked for just the photograph without
the poem. It seems her husband was not a poetry fan but would love
the picture. And so started my line of photography. This has increased
the many possibilities for a greater variety of photos. What fun I’m
having!!
My photography, only the photos themselves, are limited
editions. I sign the back of the pictures, putting the number and
name on them and the number of the limited edition; example--20/500.
Enjoy looking through the pictures. If you have any
requests for a particular shot, let me know on my
email. I’ll see what I can come up with.

Enjoy
the beauty of these words and images and may God bless you.
